The Do Not Bend postal collaboration started in December 2010 when I, artist Dickie Webb sent drawings to creatives around the world asking them to respond. These creatives included artists, film makers, designers, therapists and action sports athletes. There was no hidden agenda with this project other than to create a dialogue with those I had met on my travels and study, who I felt would add insight into how others react to current visuals. On this blog I am showing the results from these first responses and I will continue to update as the project completes with the second part.
1st Part of Project
The first part of the project involved creatives responding to three images that were sent out in December 2010:
Each creative received one xerox creased drawing, one hand drawn/printed text and one biro abstract drawing.
The creatives were allowed to respond in anyway they felt was appropriate.
2nd Part of Project
Second part of the project is where each creative was to send me three images/texts/lyrics/visual prompt to respond to.
This part of the project may take a little longer as I am now in the process of seeing how I will approach these prompts.

In the future I will look to send out work again so if you are in anyway looking to be involved please let me know as it will be good to grow and explore a wider collaboration.
